Once I arrived at baggage claim in JFK, I was informed that my baggage was still on my last leg: TPA – JFK. Apparently my checked baggage didn’t make it to the plane.
After, a jetBlue employee offered me $30.00 credit and promised to sent it to my next leg. I went to Asiana terminal and checked in through the Business class counter. They offered me a Swiss business lounge ticket, which is pretty decent. It offers a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, breakfast, a charging station, and a quiet room.
After rested in the quite room for awhile I went to the gate for departure. The mighty A380 is setting there, ready for departure.
Once we boarded the airplane, the flight attendance offered bottled water and hot towels. The plane itself is enormous, the seat for business class is spacious as well. They also offer the standard headphone, pillow, blanket, and slippers.
The food from Asiana is definitely above average for their Korean and western choices. I chose the western appetizer and starter with the Korean main course.
The service from the flight attendants was excellent just like their Asian competitors (ANA, JAL, Hainan, Korean etc).
To be continued…
